Islington Metal Works is a 2 minute walk from Angel station (on the Northern line).
Euston and Kings Cross stations are a short walk or even shorter on a bus journey.
Plenty of London buses stop on Upper Street or City Road (1 minute skip from the venue). See what TFL has to say here .
How about a lovely walk along the Regents canal where you can exit just a couple of minutes walk away at Angel. You can walk from Dalston, Hackney or Mile End all in under 40 minutes.
Staying for the weekend? There are several hotels and B&B’s in Angel, one of the closest is Jury’s Inn on Pentonville Road (10 minute walk) or there are lots of hotels next to Kings Cross station (15 minute walk, 5 minutes on the bus).
We are working with the Metropolitan Police and local authorities to make this a safe, crime-free event. Please do not bring drugs or weapons to Yard Life. You should expect to be searched at the entrance to the festival, and anyone found with illegal substances or materials will be passed directly to the police. Anyone found in possession of drugs or weapons at the event will be ejected from the site and not permitted to re-enter. The Met Police remind festival-goers that an arrest for drugs or weapons will have far-reaching consequences, potentially impacting your job and other parts of your life.
Islington Metal Works has disabled access and disabled toilets available on the main ground level, which is where the festival takes place on the Saturday. On the Sunday, there will unfortunately be areas of the festival that involve stairs and due to the nature of the building, it wasn’t possible to make them accessible to everyone. Please email [email protected] for more information and we’re more than happy to discuss in more detail with you and your access needs.
There is some seating across the site however this is limited. The stage shows are standing only. We recommend that if seating is compulsory to your enjoyment of the event then please bring it with you.
